The Barnsby FTS Chambon incorporates the Barnsby FTS Magnetic crown piece and comes with interchangable blue rope or blue elastic, so you can choose which option your horse needs at any particular time. The elastic allows for a softer feel and has more give for the horse, whereas the rope option may be required while retraining an evasive horse.
Lunging with the elastic rope is very soft on a horse with its self balancing "run through" feature and offers great advantages for serious competitors.
