It has taken more than five years of extensive research and development to produce the XTREEM and it is like no other saddle in the world. Weighing in at around 3.5 kg it is considerably lighter than a conventional saddle and is designed to give serious riders the ultimate competitive edge.
What makes the saddle so different, and explains its super light weight, is its tree. A product of Barnsby's unrivalled skills in tree making, the basic component is unique in that it is made from carbon fibre - the incredibly strong featherweight material used in Formula 1 racing cars.
Throughout the saddle, every possible weight reducing technique has been employed, with even the flap tailored to remove any excess leather, producing a modern, individual shape. The result is ultra close contact and the most radical saddle that Barnsby has ever produced. Patent pending.
