When approached by Channon to design a dressage saddle that would allow the big moving Lorenzo to use himself to the full without hindrance or restriction, Barnsby were conscious that a high performance saddle must also offer the rider a secure, stable basis through which to effectively apply the aids and that would facilitate the subtle communication between horse and rider that is so essential at the highest level in dressage. The resulting elite performance saddle, named after its inspiration - Lorenzo - features a close contact seat and panel design that enables the rider to sit deeply and securely whilst allowing them to whisper to their horse in perfect balance. A narrow tree provides the optimum ergonomic fit for both horse and rider and offers the competitive dressage rider a radically effective design for a competitive edge.
