Walking the Blenheim XC course with Mary King
Barnsby recently ran a competition to win the chance to walk the legendary Blenheim cross country course with super star eventer Mary King. With the rain that we've had this summer, we were all delighted that the sun came out to greet us on Thursday morning, even though we most certainly still needed our wellies! Our lucky winners had a great day and all thoroughly enjoyed walking this spectacular (and somewhat scary!) cross country course with the Mary - the consummate professional. We all learned lots and felt extremely privileged to get the chance to walk such a world renowned cross country course. Unfortunately the weather gods didn't continue to look favourably on Blenheim and the further torrential rain on Friday evening meant that the organisers had no option but to cancel the event. A great shame for all involved.
