Channon wins Lipica Grand Prix yet again!
Barnsby sponsored rider Wayne Channon won the Grand Prix and Kur to Music at the World Cup Qualifier in Lipica, Slovenia, aboard Lorenzo on scores of 67.00% and 73.300%. The CDI-W Lipica has become Wayne’s favourite show, winning the World Cup Qualifier for the second year running. It was a huge victory only one week after Channon's 3-year old stallion Zenon (by Rousseau x Whinny Jackson) got fully KWPN licensed after finishing third at the KWPN Stallion Performance Test in Ermelo, The Netherlands. Belarussian Iryna Lis and her bay gelding Problesk, the combination who held Wayne from a third consecutive Lipica win in 2005, were placed second in the kur this year with 70.600%.
